lifehack.org: "A task explosion happens when you are suddenly faced with more tasks than you are used to. I’ve faced many times where you suddenly need to handle twice as much work, with twice the pressure. Stress levels rise, and you might feel about ready to snap."
I really like this article, it makes some good additional points on how to deal with a "task explosion" as they call it. Many of thetips are obvious or seem that way because they have been drilled into our heads. However, things like exercise and eating well are good tips, especially since they are good things to do anyway. I find that my life tends to consst of lots of short explosions each lasting a day or two, then I spend the other days trying to keep from exploding next time a major project comes around.
ReplyDeleteLife in college is full of these explosions. If we do not find a way to plan ahead or to utilize some of these tips we will find ourselves breaking down. Once we fall, especially with everything still moving about us, it is very difficult to pick ourselves back up.
