New Kennywood ride promises Chaos
Post Gazette: "Kennywood's new extraterrestrial thrill ride, the Cosmic Chaos, will land in time for the amusement park's opening in May. The ride seats 24 people on a giant disk, which looks like a UFO, and from a height of 50 feet, the disk travels an untamed flight along 120 feet of concave track while riders spin in a circle. "
That sounds really awesome! It's amazing some of the stuff they're coming up with these days.
ReplyDeleteThe only problem with a ride like this... the amazingly long line that will inevitably cue up... I waited 4 hours in line for "X" at Magic Moutain... it was an awesome ride but not worth 4 hours of line standing... Amusement parks need to make lines more entertaining... =/
Kenny wood honestly needs some more roller coasters to attract people. The "extreme" rides they are coming up with just do not seem as thrilling as a good coaster. Also, it can't be a good thing if the best coaster they have is the Thunderbolt.
