I personally am super excited to see how this turns out. Although the movie has some weaknesses, what makes it so magical is its scenery and lighting and music. These are all very important elements to live theater. In fact, when I saw the movie, I immediately wondered if it had been turned into a musical. Coincidentally, I also think that in the recent year it has become a lot more popular again due to the usage of its songs in the Winter Olympics by the winning ice dancers. Furthermore, it seems as if both the cast and crew are composed of extremely talented artists who will for sure do the movie justice. Even looking at the image of the set is enough to show me how loyal and attentive they are being to the film. I’m also super excited to see which new songs they use and how they manage to incorporate them. All in all, hopefully this is a film to stage transition that ends well.
