BlackBook: Trump has proposed to entirely eliminate funding for the Corporation of Public Broadcasting and the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA), while simultaneously announcing plans to increase military spending by, oh, just $54 billion. The proposed refinancing is sick and terrifying, and has caused an uproar throughout the artistic community. A new hashtag, #SaveTheNEA, has emerged online in protest of Trump’s fiscal plans.
