ETC to Offer Training Opportunities & Product Demos at USITT 2017

Stage Directions: Continuing its commitment to supporting students and educators, ETC is packing this year’s USITT tradeshow with activity. Product trainings; educational sessions; new-product demos booths 114, 214, and 314; and the popular Student Session are just a portion of what ETC will offer at USITT, March 9th to 11th, in St. Louis, MI.

I think ETC is a genius for offering these opportunities at USITT. People are always more likely to buy a console if they know how to use it, and they know the company has a great reputation for education. I think that is something ETC has really mastered. The ETC Ion or Element is in the theatres of almost every educational institute, or small event venue I know. When I asked my high school why we chose the ETC model, they said it was for the excellent resources ETC offers as well as the offline editor. In addition, having the EOS Family keep very similar boards and syntax, programmers have the ability to bounce back and forth without much need for catch up. I personally love the EOS Family boards because of their efficient board composition as well as the available board add ons. Similarly, the board is a bit difficult to understand as opposed to a Phillip Strand, what I had worked with previously, but once learned, it allows commands to be taken much easier, in my opinion. I am excited to go to USITT eventually and see opportunities like this!
