I do not know what it is about the arts, and building space, but there always seems to be this demand for increased square footage. I have seen this building, and it is beautifully built. I believe it will serve the Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre and its students well. As I was scrolling through the photos that accompany this article, I was delighted to see that - in the sunlight now floods one of the main studios - the floor was already very scuffed. It seems as though the careful planning, and book balancing that went into the creation of this center and the expansion of the Pittsburgh Ballet campus will pay off, and that this was a worthwhile investment in a resource that will be well used.

The Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre produces high caliber performances and shows, and it is nice to see that their new facilities not only mirror that high standard, but will increasingly enable it.
