I would not have normally clicked on this link, except the one and only Cirque show I have ever seen was Kooza while I was in Seattle Washington. I was skeptical at first, but I was very quickly blown away. I like Kooza compared to other Cirque shows that I have read about because it feels closer to home-grown circus acts than its followers. Shows like Ka seem to be closer to spectacle, that makes sense, given that these shows are newer and are created when cirque had more of a style. That being said, Kooza feels like a regular circus show, but ramped up to 11. That is how I first experienced cirque and I hope to get a chance to see this show again because I feel like this is my favorite iteration of cirque shows.
