Sound & Picture: Sound should never take a back seat to picture. To us, they’re both equally important, and we’ve noticed over the years that more producers and filmmakers are realizing this. Yeah, producers still try to squeeze every dollar they can, that’s their job, but the ones who understand the importance of good sound is growing. It’s really only through education, whether it be subliminal or not, that the next generation of filmmakers comes to understand that there’s so much more to creating a story than setting up a camera.
