I really love reading about arts integration in to the schools; arts education is so important to a child's development! Its even more interesting to read about HOW they incorporate drama in to children's learning; I never imagined it being use to further language processing and speaking! Just think of the long term effects of this, not only have you a whole new set of well spoken, arts educated children but the field could progress to using drama as speech therapy or other wellness activity. That there have been more and more grants and other funding opportunists coming up only furthers my belief that the arts are making a come back.
