All of these actors are incredible. I'm glad to see they are one of the most decorated SAG star of this year. I've only experience the Sag awards twice in my life. One of them was through a viewing and another was through word of mouth with a friend who went into huge detail about the entire experience. I remember as a child I thought that the only award ceremonies were the Oscars, Tonys, and Grammys. Then I discovered that there were so many other award ceremonies out there. Tonys and Oscars are definitely still my favorite. However being reminded about the SAG awards is nice. And getting a good look at the talent that's out there is really nice. These actors and actresses can always be huge inspiration for those that are interested in doing the same thing that their idols are doing and maybe being just as successful. But I don't see the actors here at CMU having a problem.

First off, I have a love hate relationship with award show season. To the average view they are super fun to watch! You get to see all your favorite celebrities show off fashion’s newest trend as they prance down the red carpet. There are two things that I really love that award shows do. The first is that we are able to look back on all the work that was created the past year. The second, is that the whole entertainment community comes together to celebrate the accomplishments of the year. However, a thought I am constantly having is, “are the winners rigged?” Reading this article really brought this thought to life for me. Think about. Alec Baldwin and Ty Barrell are fantastic actor, but they have been nominated over 20 times! (Granted those nominations are not for a single role, but still). I would love to see some new fresh faces among the nominee list once and a while. Just a thought.
