MIXING THE SOUND OF THE 10 PLAGUES OF EGYPT

From the Guild: A retelling of Moses’ defiant uprising against the Egyptian pharaoh Rhamses, and the setting of 600,000 slaves onto a journey of escape to the Holy Land, Exodus: Gods and Kings from director Ridley Scott features the innovative skills of lead mixer Paul Massey, working with a sound crew at Twickenham TW1 Studios post-production complex in southwest London. Having been based for several years at Sony Pictures Studios’ Cary Grant Stage in Culver City, Massey is currently spending a year or two in his native England overseeing a number of film projects. The film is scheduled for US release via 20th Century Fox Pictures on December 12, with Christian Bale as Moses, Joel Edgerton as Rhamses, Aaron Paul as Joshua and Sigourney Weaver as Tuya.
