Can Your Employees Survive a Shipwreck?

PowerTips | Remodelers Advantage: Have you ever played one of those educational survivor games? They always start with a crisis (like a plane crash or a shipwreck) that leaves you and your team with only your problem-solving skills and a motley array of items to survive.

This video was yawn-inducing. What an awesome concept and a poor execution. Honestly, this sounds like something I would do at summer camp as a team-bonding activity. Trust me, these things work. Even if you have people who think that the activity is stupid, it works for them too. However, this video is very dull and I quickly lost any sort of interest on the topic. If I was trying to get my team of people to start working together, I would not consider this a viable option.

Can I just say that her voice gave me a head ache? It was so sharp to the ears. I almost didn't make it through alive.
I agree with everything that Katie has said, especially the part about it being a boring video.
It was way too long for them trying to get me to buy/use something. After a while, my thoughts were, "Well, I hope your game isn't as terrible as your speech is." I would not use her product, even if she were selling something that I was actually looking for or actually needed. Get some better publicity people!
I do however believe in the use of team building exercises. That is definitely a thing that should happen when any new group needs to work together. that's why we did team building things in HvH, right? We needed to work together and get a bunch of ideas out there.
