ETC Theater Upgrade Program Gives UNCSA Venues Fresh Start

Live Design [primary-term] press release archives: Earlier this year, ETC unveiled the 2014 Theater program, which allows venues to upgrade their existing ETC lighting systems without the need for a costly retrofit. The University of North Carolina School of the Arts (UNCSA) was one of the first to participate in the program, getting updated ETC dimming systems for several of their theaters.

So I could bring up how amazing technology advances are and how they are taking our world by storm.... blah blah blah. But this is more of a concerning issue. I have many friends that are attending or have graduated from UNCSA and even though they say they love it, it seems that the school is losing a lot of their money and are not that organized financially. One of my friends recently left that school because you scholarship was taken away because they needed more money to purchase new advancements like etc equipment. I see the school wanting new technology, shouldn't they focus on their students first. It is a college, for students to learn. But if the school is taking away financial aid from there students then there will be less to teach. And then even worse, their reputation will be lost. I think UNCSA should rethink where their priorities lie.
