Technology Tools for Everyday Productivity

www.ducttapemarketing.com: Every so often I sit back and take inventory of the tools I’m using with an eye on weeding some out and adding some in. Technology can be a tremendously useful thing when it comes to getting more productivity, but you must continually monitor what’s working and what’s not.

This list is both reassuring and interesting. Not only do many of these tools look familiar, but I have used many of them in the past, which includes Skype, Dropbox, Google Hangouts, Hootsuite, Feedly and more. Knowing that I am on track and familiar with many of the tools that professionals use for communication and collaboration is reassuring, but yet reminds me that I have so much to learn because of all the tools that I have never even utilized, better yet even heard of. I wish there were more lists of applications and tools like this for students because at least for me I am always wanting to use more and more technology, moreover useful, productive technology.

I have a few of these tools in my everyday repertoire, and I have to say, I am totally going to try some of the ones I don't already use. I swear by Google Apps, Skype, and DropBox but other than those, I have never heard of most of the list. I think it is nice to have so many resources made available to everyday organization and productivity, especially in our crazy theatrical lives.

I found this list to be helpful and informative, but entirely too long. Some of these apps are extremely useful if you are trying to maximize your productivity, but I always feel as if people could get more from these list if they spoke about what smaller combinations of apps worked well together, instead of just giving you a giant list. last year, I read a green page article that outlined the usefulness apps compared to the sort of worker you are. I wish more of these productivity list were similar to that.
