Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre sets 'wicked' lineup

TribLIVE: Something wicked this way comes. And Alan Stanford thinks that's a good thing.
Stanford, who recently succeeded Andrew Paul as producing artistic director for Pittsburgh Irish & Classical Theatre, chose the line from “Macbeth” as the theme for the company's six-production 2014 season.

It's interesting that PICT would choose to do six shows instead of five during a season with so many staff changes. Not only is the theatre under new artistic direction, but they were recently advertising for a new production manager and a new technical director as well. I am all for companies stretching their limits, but I don't think the limits should be stretched before it's figured out what those limits are with a brand new staff. Nonetheless, the lineup sounds like it will be good. I just hope that the caliber of performance can be upheld with the addition of an additional show during a time of so much other change.
