IMAGINATION STAGE, Inc. (ISI), an Equity children's theatre, seeks a Production Manager who is passionate about theatre and arts education, is a creative problem solver, and has a sense of humor. The Production Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Production Department, ensuring that ISI productions are executed within budget in a safe, efficient and timely manner while maintaining a high level of artistic quality and integrity. Responsibilities: Hire and supervise production staff, AEA and non-AEA stage managers; Hire and write contracts for designers; Work with Artistic and Education staff on season planning, scheduling and budgeting; Attend technical rehearsals and previews; Run Production meetings; Track, process and maintain production related expenses. Requirements: Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred). 3-5 years experience in production management or related field. 2-3 years supervisory experience. Working knowledge of technical theatre including lights, sound, properties and scenic art. Demonstrated ability to supervise staff.
