Pig Iron Theatre Company
(Philadelphia, PA), an OBIE award-winning, interdisciplinary
ensemble company dedicated to the creation of new performance works,
is seeking a new Production Manager. Responsibilities of
the Production Manager include: staffing all productions, managing
technical staff, maintaining budgets and logistics for new productions and
tours, negotiating technical details of contracts with venues, scheduling and
maintaining the production calendar, and maintaining Pig Iron's
inventory and storage space for touring shows.
Excellent communication skills and proficiency in Excel are required. Previous stage management and/or technical direction experience is desired; knowledge of Vectorworks is important. Ideal candidates will have proven leadership ability as well as an ability to partner with designers to bring ambitious, complex designs to fruition.
