PROPOSAL WRITING WORKSHOPS

$3500 Summer Fellowships
Summer Undergraduate Research Fellowships (SURF) are open to ALL undergraduates interested in any form of research.   Awards are available of $3500 for eight to ten weeks of full-time summer research on campus in any field of study. Summer Research Fellowships are very competitive.  Students may work alone or in a group, but must apply for the Fellowship as an individual - no group awards are  available.  There are special guidelines for Arts and Creative Humanities Proposals.

Summer SURG/Fall SURG
Small Undergraduate Research Grants (SURG) are open to* ALL *undergraduates in any discipline, freshmen-seniors.  Grants are available of up to $500 for single entries and up to $1,000 for group entries to cover such things as the costs of supplies and materials, time on laboratory equipment, or travel to another city for data.

The deadline for Fall/Summer 2013 SURG and Summer 2013 Fellowship proposals is March 20th, 2013 at 5 PM.
