Well congrats to the two of them. What I think is amazing is that this is the second time I commented on an article about CMU students winning awards. It's great that our own designers are worthy of USITT recognition, and that I myself have worked with them. I worked with Albulena on Rivals costumes, and I still cannot believe that I got to work with award winning designers here at CMU.

Firstly, I want to congratulate two talented CMU Drama students. It is amazing to see our students receiving 2013 USITT award, which is one of very famed award that one can get. Like how previous comment, I also got to work with Albulena for a short moment during my production call and I could immediately see her enthusiasm and passion with costume design. I want to be inspired by this news and push really hard so that I can develop more and really find my passion in one area. I think every time I see such articles saying about successful CMU artists who win awards or get to work in famous show, I feel very proud of being part of it. I hope that one day I could be in one of the nominees of such famed award.

I love reading articles about CMU students on the green page. Congratulations to both of them! It's so fantastic to see the hard work that students put in pays off. I had never heard of the USITT awards before a few weeks ago, but now they seem to be all I'm hearing about. It's so fantastic that these awards exist and even better that they actually mean something and are more than just a gold star at the end of the day. I wish they had said more about the sound award but I suppose the link at the bottom is pretty self explanatory as to why he won. Once again, congratulations to them both!

When ever my mom or i stuble across articles like this it just reminds me of why im here. My mom actually told me about this before i heard about it from the school, only to find out that i actually have worked with her! I was on run crew for rivals and the costumes were just absolutly stunning. she truely deserves this award. im not too familiat with this award but i would and will love to find out more about it! its always great to see people around you winning awards and being praised for there hard work. even if its not me all the time it still lifts me up and reasures me that this is the right place for me.

This just goes to show teh kind of talented individuals CMU SoD produces. I've worked with both of them and cannot congratulate them enough for their work. I also really like how much the USITT representatives for the award encourage winners of these awards to mingle with professionals who are already working in the field; I think that makes for a huge melting pot of theatrical talent and fresh ideas. Congrats to them both!
