jealous!! Harry Potter is my favourate. i can still recall when i was in junior high school, how my friends and i skiped a whole-day-classes, standing in the winter wind and waiting for the latest book pushing into public. For all these years, i have read it for more than 20 times and everytime i get something new from it. Last year i went to Florida for the Harry Potter Theme Park. what surprised me most is not the amazing foundation of the it, it was most people there were older than me or at least as my same age. well, i think Harry Potter for my generation is not only a story or some films, it is a phynominan, which taught us how to love and how to take responsbility when we were young.

When there was an article posted about this a few weeks ago, I wasn't exactly sure what to think about it. On one hand, it is really cool that people can now see some of their favorite Potter props and designs up close and personal. However, at the same time, I felt as if it may take some of the magic away. After think about the exhibit longer, I believe that it does not take away from the magic. Although the exhibit may reveal to its visitors the ways in which special effects and designs were created for the films, it also has the ability to enhance the Harry Potter experience. Now, when people watch the films after visiting the exhibit, they will possibly have a deeper connection with the film. In a way, they will feel as if they are a real part of the production of the film by seeing how it was done behind the scenes. I think this exhibit has the power to be magical all on its own.

I love these sorts of behind the scenes tours. They allow the audience to better appreciate all the work that goes on to create these fantastical worlds that they see on screen. I sort of disagree that it takes the magic away. I think that people already know that is not truly real and seeing all of these props and sets and costumes will create a new type of magic surrounding these movies. I do agree that when people are watching the movies and have been to see the exhibit they will have a new experience with the film.

I have always loved to have the opportunities to look at "behind the scenes" footage of television shows and to get backstage tours ofproductions I have scene. This is a really great way for people to see the makings of the Harry Potter movies. I think it is great when people are able to open their minds up to HOW productions are put on, whether it be in film or theater. YES it is about the illusion, but the creativity and process that is involved in such large works can be a show of its own!

This is pretty awesome! I know I would LOVE to see all of the Harry Potter props and sets and designs up close, and have wanted to visit here ever since I read about this a couple years ago. I'm always interested in the behind the scenes aspects of movies, so being able to visit one up close and explore all of its nooks and crannies, and simply just be in the midst of this magical world is absolutely exhilarating to me. I understand what others have said, that this might ruin the magic of the most popular film series of all time, but for me it would only magnify the magic!
