Meyer sound makes such amazing products it is time that he got some recognition for the work that his company continues to do. I love the fact that he owns this multinational company and he still looks like a roadie. Also I think that Meyer's commitment to research and development is part of their success. I am also impressed that they have been able to keep away from trying to drop quality to gain market share in the mid-range market. Their sound is amazing and I hope that it is because John Meyer still has his hands on the day to day operation.

For someone who has very little aptitude when it comes to the sound world, I am proud to say that even I know who John Meyer is. I did not know that his career began with The Steve Miller Band, which only adds to the prowess of this man. I am glad that he won this award because has worked very hard for a very long time in this industry and you know that it is his passion. I also have to agree with Luke in that this head of one of the top names in sound, looks like a roadie.
