This is great that Autodesk is working with the full industry to try to make things for them but the big thing that I know that Autodesk is having a problem with is getting people to know that they have a large suite of programs for everything. I talked to a person that works for Autodesk and they said that a lot of companies don’t use their design suite to the max, most do not know how the other programs work and their strengths. I know for a fact that a lot of theater based companies tend to go just to AutoCAD when the tool they should be using for this is Inventor or something else. I hope that with this new product that they are making, people will use it to the max but also know when it is not smart to use.
