Production Manager
ARIEL Theatrical
Salinas, California

Production
Develop the annual production budget and manage annual production budget
Plan and produce the production calendar and schedules
Assist Artistic Director with all props and costume inventory.
Develop and maintain database of costume and prop storage.
Oversee training of all production staff and volunteers per production. Train backstage crews.
In conjunction with the Artistic Director hire designers per show and coordinate schedules,
new‐hire documentation, work permits with Executive Director.
Create and administer contract agreements in conjunction with the Executive Director
Assist in the creation of rehearsal schedules
Stage Manage ARIEL’S major productions

Facility Management
Ensure that the theatre’s technical equipment, resources and facility are properly maintained.
Ensure that the theatre’s common areas are maintained; i.e. Green Room, Dressing Rooms,
Rehearsal Space and Laundry Room.

Experience
Candidate should have theatre production management background with a minimum of three
years direct experience.
Previous experience supervising technical crews
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Experience with budgeting and completing shows within budget
Hands‐on experience and knowledge of scenic construction, lighting, and sound are a plus
Experience with computer/CAD programs as well as Microsoft office desirable
Compensation commensurate with experience.
