After seeing or hearing about most of these nominees, I think that there is some serious competition. I am not sure if the award is based off of the costume or if it it includes make up, or if it is simply the overall look. I thought that "The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo" had incredible costumes and overall looks that matched the set. For the period film, "The Help", had a great fresh look that served the movie well. I especially loved the scene where one of the housewives is showing her half sewn dress to the maid. The maids themselves held themselves incredibly well and used their accessories to create strong personalities. As far as the other nominees, I think that Once Upon a Time has some pretty amazing costumes. What is even more interesting, is the way that the show flashes from the fantastical middle ages to today.
