Dance-theater production will benefit arts and the disabled

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Dancers and choreographers like to find new possibilities in movement, but working on "GIMP" took Heidi Latsky far beyond what she expected. Latsky formed her first dance company in 1982, and was a longtime principal member of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Dance company. Bursting with energy and ideas, she formed Heidi Latsky Dance in 2001.

This is great to hear that a company is helping people that are less fortunate than themselves. A lot of companies just forget about the people that where here when they were younger or in the profession and just presume that they will be fine in the long run. But a lot of people still want to do what they love to do. I am glad that they are doing this on their anniversary. It is interesting that one of the people in this company had a reason to do this type of thing and now they are doing it. I hope that they realize a lot of money for the fund and have a great time when they are doing it. I hope that it also opens some people’s eyes about this.
