Art && Code 3D

It looks like there are going to be some amazing workshops going on at Art && Code 3D, I just wish I had found out about this sooner; almost all of the workshops are already full. It's great that this event is centering around Microsoft Kinect, a device which is affordable and has an easily available SDK for people to experiment with. Watching some of the example videos, I am amazed at what people can come up with. There are some really cool applications for interactive art and media to be discovered.

As Will said, I wish I had heard about this event sooner. Some of the things that people have been able to do with the Kinect sensor have been pretty amazing, and I would really love to go and find out what new ideas people are coming up with in using this and other devices. I hope I can get a chance to check it out and go to any workshops I can, but it's great that it's being held at Carnegie Mellon to give the students here and opportunity to explore this new technology and new medium moving forward.
