AFTRA Ratifies Video Game Deal

Backstage: "The American Federation of Television and Radio Artists announced Friday that itsmembers had voted to ratify a new contract covering voice work in video games. The new 3½-year agreement guarantees members a 3 percent increase on minimum compensation over the life of the contract. A 1 percent increase will go into effect immediately, making the minimum fee for a four-hour session $809. A 2 percent increase will follow on May 1, 2013, at which time the minimum fee will jump to $825."
