Keira Knightley and Elisabeth Moss on the London Stage

NYTimes.com: "SEE how they writhe. Love, for all the raptures it is said to inspire, can be as uncomfortable as chicken pox. Just ask Keira Knightley, Elisabeth Moss and Rebecca Hall.
Not that I know anything about these women’s personal lives (or no more than the average reader of Gawker). But each of these in-demand young actresses has taken to the stage here to demonstrate how romance is as likely to prickle, sting and even kill as it is to tickle. Audiences are lining up, and paying top scalper prices, for the privilege of watching them squirm, seethe and turn deathly pale. Which they do, by the way, most convincingly.

I have an incredible amount of respect for Keira Knightley. I don't know her personally, but i appreciate the types of films she involves herself with and have heard very convincing accounts of what a dedicated and hard worker she is on the set. I can't imagine what it would be like to work on a production with a celebrity of her magnitude, especially in a theatrical setting. For many actors, making the transition from film to theatre is a major adjustment, especially if they've only ever had limited stage experience. There are a number of horror stories included in almost any stage management text about working with star performers, but I would like to think that there are some that are just a pleasure to work with, and from what I have heard about Ms. Knightley, I would hope she is one of them.
