Film World Unions Squabble Over Tax Dollars

Big Hollywood: "As you all know, I am a producer of feature films, well mostly TV movies. Thus far, most of my films have shot overseas in order to keep costs down. A number of them could have and would have been shot in America had there been any kind of tax incentives to level the playing field with the cheaper labor rates found in Thailand, India and Eastern Europe.

Follow The Money... thats how the entertainment industry works , the more the financial backing the stronger the intake of tax dollars the smaller the cost whichever will make more dough is where the productions will go. canada realized this and for the past twenty or so years has become a cash cow for hollywood filmmaker s looking for more financial freedom and it has hurt american based film economies. this type of war for film productions has been what has kept productions moving from city to city and state to state so frequently and in many ways that has been very good but when will the productions decide that its not worth it and leave american soil altogether.
