I think this is a fantastic idea. During the first week here I had the August Wilson Center as my place to research for the first design project. The theater space is almost 5x the size of Playwright Theater's current space. This is a great thing for Playwright Theater and for August Wilson. The play's really should be staged in Pittsburgh. They are about Pittsburgh written by a Pittsburgh native. I completely agree with the this article sentiment that they intend to "bring August Wilson home." The proposed festival in which features all 10 play in the Pittsburgh cycle is another great opportunity to accomplish this and I hope that both endeavors succeed.

So many changes to this show. Why was this show's date changed? I understand the venue move, and I love that Playwrights is getting access to a larger space (especially since it is a change that will be repeated) because the August Wilson place is really nice. Plus I like that "[t]he idea is to bring August Wilson home."
