I think it is great that they are honoring Theoni Aldredge this way. It must be a very eerie site to see when all the marquees are dimmed. I wonder if they have done this in the past and if they have what their criteria is for something like this. She has many famous credits to her name and it said she won 3 tonys for 15 she was nominated for. I was was surprised to see the ones that she won for are not the ones that are the most well known that she has done but that is the Tonys for you.

I think this is an amazing way to honor the passing of a Broadway great. It is such a sign of respect in a public forum. I would love to see it in my life time. I wonder if those working on Broadway tonight will set outside to see and remember? It is sad to lose some one like her. It seems like she should have won more awards.
