How Four Actors Spent Their ‘God of Carnage’ Vacation

NYTimes.com: "After months of bickering and brawling, of hurling things at and on one another, of demolishing their marriages and the institution itself, the cast of “God of Carnage” needed a break."

Wow, 6 weeks. What a lucky cast. My question is what the theater is doing in the meantime. If I had my druthers they'd be holding cabarets there. Maybe even fund raisers. It's not making money just being closed. Perhaps the producers should let someone else come in and make money off it and just share a percentage. That would be a win-win.

I think it's kinda cool to see the stars in this production be presented in such a way. I like knowing that they're mothers who go out and pick blueberries with their children, and still artists who enjoy staging their own new works. It brings them to the same level that I am - and im' sure if I were to see the show, knowing this would very much change how I thought of it.
