I'm so excited to see "A Little Night Music" coming back to Broadway - after so long (i'm not, of course, including the benefit performance staged earlier this year with the late Natasha Richardson, and her mother Vanessa Redgrave). Also exciting is Trevor Nunn's return to New York after his successful staging of Tom Stoppard's "Rock 'n Roll." I hope that this 'import' fares better than recent attempts (excluding Billy Elliott). "The Women in White" and "Sunday in the Park With George" have recently been disappointments at the box office - and I hope that this company - without big american names - will be able to use Sondheim's brilliant score to get quite a line at the box office.
