Review: Ballet Boyz

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "The audience met the Ballet Boyz first on film at Saturday night's Dance Council presentation at the Byham Theater, Downtown. Part biography and part travelogue, the film introduced the captivating personalities of company co-founders Michael Nunn and William Trevitt."

The article was brief, and didn't make the show sound incredible. It was very matter o fact, not very emotional. I think that the show is possibly quite the opposite. The commentary allows me to believe that the writer may not have been paying a lot of attention, not fully engaged, but that they still felt moved by the piece enough to write about it.

I'm confused --- the article was really short and rather dispassionately written. While I understand the intent of being a more hard hitting writer may be the case, I don't feel like, even if the performance was poor, that the writer did its attributes an justice.
