Want a Job? Don't Major in Business.

Study Hacks: "Business administration and management is the country’s most popular college major. The reasons are not surprising. Many students incorrectly believe that their major needs to be a tight fit with their post-grad job. They note that they want a job working for a business, so they conclude they should major in business.
Sigh."

I'm certainly glad I didn't decide to major in business, but I wouldn't go as far as to say it's worthless as this article suggests. I do think it is a good idea to maybe minor in business and take classes in something else that really interests you because, the guy's right. You don't really need vast amounts of education for the first job, and they're going to train you for the job anyway. I don't know, maybe I'm just a bit biased because of what school and field i'm in.

Wow, well this is surprising. I mean I personally would never major in business for the life of me. That kinda makes me feel bad for all of the business majors here at this school, but oh well. Also, it's not really surprising to find that its the most popular major.
