Bloomberg.com: Arts and Culture: "Hollywood’s largest actors union will ask its members to authorize a strike after a breakdown of federally mediated talks with film and television studios."

"A strike would idle most production at major studios for a second time in a year and put thousands out of work. Hollywood was shut for three months after members of the Writers Guild of America walked off their jobs last November." Honestly, it does not seem extremely plausible to me to accept a strike. Why would this be the reasonable solution? It obviously will put millions out of the job and I doubt they will get their point across? But we will see how it turns out.
