Aviary plans $23 million flock of upgrades

PostGazette: "With an owl, a vulture and a flock of flamingos flapping around as props, National Aviary officials yesterday unveiled an ambitious $23 million expansion and renovation project that will keep birds of wildly different feathers flocking together on Pittsburgh's North Side."

I'm excited about this! I went to the Aviary a couple of months ago, and the facility is definitely in need of an update. However, the birds and the experience were fantastic. I highly recommend this to everyone, especially since we get in free. It's really easy to take a bus there, too. I'm excited to go back once it's renovated.
