The clamp N spread is cool, it looks like it may be a bit wimpier than a regular quick-qrip. If they are beefy I will def get a pair for my tool bag

The Looj Gutter Cleaner sounds a lot like those mini robot carpet cleaners- great in theory but not for large jobs. Many gutters are full of wet, heavy leaves. The Looj will have to be taken out to be cleaned several times each time it cleans a single gutter. And what about the weeds inside the gutter? Will the wheels get stuck in the root systems? Several versions of this gadget might be in order.

The "Turn a bar clamp into an edge clamp" looks really cool and seems very functional and appropriate for working in the shop. I only question whether it would be big enough for some projects? The spreader & clamp thing looks cool and look like it may hold up, but it is always nice to have it in your hands before you buy it.

...our quick grips do exactly what the clamp&spread does - pull out the yellow tab, pad slides off the end of the clamp, and it slides back on. sure, it'll take about 3 more seconds than flipping a switch, but it works just as well, and it's something we already have.

I have mixed feelings about the $120 welder...On the one hand, it's great that somebody can get a cheap welder and get into welding as a hobby. However, it seems that the prohibitive cost of higher-end welders was something of a safety factor: only those who actually needed a welder and knew how to use one would spend the bucks on one. Having welders cheaply accessible to the masses might not be a good thing...might lead to fires or injury from people trying to use them without knowing how. This is cool, though, for those that want a home welder without having to install 220v power or buy gas canisters.
