Warhol hires curator

PostGazette: "The Andy Warhol Museum has appointed New Castle native Eric C. Shiner to be the first Milton Fine Curator of Art effective Oct. 1. The position was made possible by a $1.5 million gift from The Fine Foundation in September 2007."

Hopefully the new curator will add some variety to the rotating exhibits at the museum. I only get to go to the Warhol a few times a year, but my last few visits seemed to be a bit similar. More concerts at the Warhol would also be a lot of fun.

it is so strange that they never had a full-time curator. it is such a big museum with much meanings for people in pittsburgh. the new curator seemed like he has so much to offer to the museum. hope to see more upcoming events from the museum!
