'Rent' Takes Final Bow On Broadway
NPR: "The curtain comes down on Rent for the last time Sunday night, after 12 years on Broadway. Although critics call the musical dated, it will live on in a touring production and countless high school drama classes."

i think it is still sad to see a long-lasting show go away, although it has been a little overrated and hated by many theatre professionals. but it was sad to see producers go away, and now it is rent. i know it bring a lot of economical difficulties to the broadway producers, but hopefully new shows will come along and save the night
