It's good to know there is more information on sound at the event. With all the emphasis on audio technologies, I wonder how much of an issue will be made of the whitespace battle.
These classes cover topics in sound that integrate the technical aspects of the audio industry, just as LDI incorporates the current lighting technology, which makes it the perfect venue for this type of training. I just wish our school was structured in such a way that we could actually go.
This is really good for the theatre industry. I know a lot of tech people who are very good at most aspects of theatre, but know nothing about theatrical sound, and I think this hampers what a lot of people can do with sound at their theatre. More people need to get educated in sound, and having workshops specifically for sound technology is a good way to get people started on that. I wish we could go, too, Aaron.
