An intense and intelligent "Eurydice" at ACT Theatre

Seattle Times Newspaper: "Many an artist and composer have been inspired by the ancient story of the musician Orpheus and his trip to the Underworld to rescue his beloved wife, Eurydice, from the snatches of death."

This article was a pleasant surprise. Last week I read an article about he play Eurydice opening in Seattle. It was just a preview and not actually a review. I was sincerely interested and really wanted to know how it turned out. I'm so happy that it was a success! I was wondering how they would pull off the whole traditional play modernized thing because it works for some plays and others it just does NOT! I was especially interested that a majority of it was set in an empty swimming pool. It was just such and unexpected place that was so unique. I loved it and still really want to see it!
