I'll admit that this doesn't seem like a project with widespread appeal like it claims. Perhaps it's because they used hip-hop and Shakespeare in the same sentence, then again both genres have rhythm. Hopefully the store holds as much appeal as it does because it would be a shame to see a great tale fall due to poor execution (or creative decisions). It's still something to look into though because it's a new (or relatively so) experience in theatre.
This fusion sounds like a lot of fun. Risk-taking is a really important part of being an artist, and I'd say blending Shakespeare and hip-hop is pretty risky. However, I think it's a loose enough connection (the story seems more inspired by Shakespeare than actually derived from it) that it definitely has the potential to be something really fascinating.
