Evil Dead meets its bloody end at last
TheStar.com: "Put that chainsaw down, my friends, it's finally kicked the bucket. Evil Dead: The Musical, the show with more lives than any of Andrew Lloyd Webber's felines, is playing its final performance this evening at the Diesel Playhouse."

I saw this show in New York, and as a fan of the movies, I really enjoyed it. There's something to be said for plain old campy fun, and that's what Evil Dead is. It doesn't try to be deep or touching or light as air. It's just cheesy, funny, and bloody. While I enjoy serious, well-written plays, sometimes it's nice to spend an evening laughing at a campy, zombie-killing musical.
NOOOO,
I really wanted to see this show. In a sense I'm surprised by the amount of success it earned, but I'm also very okay with coming to the fact that audiences were expecting something ridiculous with this show. If you loved the cheesy movies, you're going to love a cheesy blown out musical hands down
