10 Reasons You Should Write Something Each Day

Stepcase Lifehack: "Aside from the fact that writing is an inescapable part of every day life, there are many good reasons you should make a good session of writing part of your daily routine, even if it’s just a few hundred words. You don’t have to be a pro to reap the benefits of creating the written word."

This is a really good idea, and I think this is why a lot of people keep journals or diaries. Writing every day helps to keep you in touch with your thoughts. It's easy to get caught up in the hustle and bustle of the world and not take time to think about what's going on in your head. It's like a daily status report for your brain, and I think being in touch with your thoughts and emotions is really important for your mental health.

I very strongly agree with this. I used to write everyday in a journal, but now I only write when I feel a very strong urge to do so. Whenever I do begin to do it continually for a prolonged period of time tough, I find that I am following a lot of the things that this article is talking about. I also helps me to remember my days better, sometimes with uncanny accuracy. I also strongly agree with leaving technology behind for a little while and just dwell among your thoughts.
