Strike panel sparks talk at Sundance

EW.com: "In Park City this morning, attorney Jonathan Handel, Writers Guild of America member Howard Rodman, and Screen Actors Gulid member Jason Stuart were on hand for a panel at Queer Lounge to discuss the ongoing WGA strike and what the Directors Guild of America's deal means for the current 'informal talks' between the writers and producers."

I think its true that if they can call it reality and that means its cheaper, television shows will continue to do that. And I do agree that i'm pretty sure the things coming out of Ryan Seacrest's mouth probably did not originate in Ryan Seacrest's perfect hair covered head. And so its just not fair to call a writer a producer and there fore pay them less (and or fire them, whatever the case may be). So hollywood has got to get its act together and start realizing that it is the writers that make the shows (whether you want to call them writers, producers, consultants, whatever) and start playing fair, not cheap.
