It is exciting to see the release of Vectorworks 2008, I actually received the Nemetschek Newsletter via email just before checking the blog and it makes me interested to try out 2008 and see what is new. However, I am not making any plans to purchase the software since 12 works very well for my purposes and the limitations of the new student licenses (big ugly watermarks) are currently deterring me from upgrading my software.

I am just learning to use Vectorworks and in just the reading of it there are so many cool features. It's great to see that they are continuing to really work at it and give us even more flexibility. To be able to cut shutters in the virtual world? Way cool.

I totally agree about the shutter cuts.

I still have yet to have time to learn VectorWorks, so once I get the basics down I just can't wait to explore all of the possibilities and features they are adding. It's great to see the needs of the designers and users of VectorWorks being taken into account and used to improve the program. Looking at Nemestschek's site, it's exciting to see all they've done.
