'Secret Life of Girls' packs emotional punch

The Dallas Morning News: "Words wound. That's no surprise to anyone who has survived adolescence, but Linda Daugherty's world premiere of The Secret Life of Girls still packs quite a shock as a giggly girls' sleepover morphs into a next-day power trip with the popular queen bee trashing the birthday girl behind her back."

I think this is quite interesting and would be interested in seeing this performance to see how accurate the piece actually is. Teen bullying can be quite an awful experience and where as it can lead many to depression, I believe that some of the responses like cutting yourself due to teen girl wars can seem a little bit of an extremity. However, if it brings an awareness to the audience of how we need to look at teenage life and handle that age of kids/our own kids when we have them and they reach that age.
