Costumes bare true 'Intimate Apparel' characters

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "Lynn Nottage's play, 'Intimate Apparel,' which begins previews Thursday at City Theatre, is about Esther, an unmarried African-American woman who designs and creates beautiful lingerie for women in 1905 Manhattan."

This show is kind of a 'costume theory' show it seems. I'm sure it's an interesting show, but the part that interests me is how analytical they are being about the costumes. I almost feel like this play would be a great teaching tool for design. It's like a lesson in show form.

I hope we do it in Design for the Stage, or whatever its going to be next year, too. I sounds very interesting and I really wish I could see it. It does seem like costume theory which is awesome and I think really benifical to those not only costume design students, but those in other areas in helping to show costumes importance in theater.

Many women love to wear lingerie .It is a night dress or undergarments usually wear by women to appear more sexy and erotic. It is an undergarment worn next to the skin. There are many styles to choose from like elegant style, erotic and sexy. Best lingerie or intimate apparel is already available online for orders. So better check it out.
