The Jaded Assassin

New York Times: "The rule at rehearsals was simple: “If you hit someone for real, you owe them a beer,” said Timothy Haskell, director of “The Jaded Assassin,” which runs through March 4 at the Ohio Theater in SoHo and includes more than an hour’s worth of onstage martial-arts combat."

This is a really cool concept. It goes into exactly what Jackson was trying to accomplish for playground. He was trying to bring an action movie to the stage. It's a genre not common to the theater and I think it's a really cool concept. It sounds like this pulls it off fairly well.
